Mako Warranty and Repairs
MAKO Sunglasses are warranted against defects in materials and/or workmanship for 24 months from date of purchase. MAKO reserves the right to repair or replace any product we identify as having a manufacturing defect.
This warranty does not include damage occurring as a result of normal wear and tear including scratched or broken lenses, or breakages/damage as result of misuse. Any alteration to your MAKO sunglasses will void your warranty
Should your sunglasses require repair that is not covered under warranty, we offer a repair service at a reasonable rate and will advise you of the cost prior to commencing the repair work.
Alterations to your MAKO sunglasses of any kind will void this warranty.
For repair of prescription sunglasses, please contact your place of purchase for repair options. In case this is not possible, please contact us.
To have your MAKO sunglasses repaired or to request a warranty assessment, please return to your place of purchase, alternatively :
- Fill in the PDF warranty/repair form on this website, including your name and contact details (you can either complete the form electronically then print, or print first then hand write your details)
- Package your sunglasses (inside their protective case) in a sturdy box with protective padding.
- We recommend you send your completed warranty/repair form and sunglasses to the address listed below using a traceable service (e.g. registered post) as MAKO cannot be responsible for lost or damaged goods in transit.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods and services to which the warranty relates.
